قوانین حروف اضافه همراه با اسم در زبان انگلیسی
هیچ قاعده دقیقی وجود ندارد که تعیین کند کدام حرف اضافه به کدام اسم متصل می‌شود. با این حال به صورت تجربی به شما ثابت خواهد شد که بیشتر مواقع حروف اضافه مرتبط با اسم‌های مترادف یکسان است. به طور مثال حرف اضافه‌ای که برای اسم respect (احترام) به کار برده می‌شود مشابه حرف اضافه کلمات admiration یا esteem است.
